In these two projects, Precision MicroFab milled micro-channels in polycarbonate.
The top image shows the hemispherical cross section of the micro-channels. Precision MicroFab also drilled via holes for inlet and outlet ports.
In the second project, two polycarbonate plates were laser welded together. The top (clear) piece featured via holes for inlet and outlet ports, while the bottom (tinted) piece featured micro-channels. The entire assembly was pressure and leak tested by Precision MicroFab.
