Our client sent us gold plated pins coated with parylene for selective removal. We carefully stripped off the parylene in a small window by ablating the coating with our deep ultraviolet laser, all without damaging the underlying nanometers-thick gold coating. Afterwards, we measured the window and tested the electrical continuity between the ablated region and the main carrier strip to verify and validate our work.
